Appointments and Cancellations

Please give me 48 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment as I have allocated this time slot for you and your health and without proper notice, it is difficult to schedule another client who may need the treatment time. If an appointment is missed without 48 hours notice, you will be billed for the time booked. If your appointment falls on a Monday, please contact us by the previous Thursday morning. We also encourage you to pre-schedule your following visit as to ensure that you get the time and day that you desire.

Cell Phones & Pagers

Please mute cell phones and pagers during your appointment time.

Inappropriate Behavior

If any behavior is considered inappropriate the session will be terminated immediately and payment must be made in full. I reserve the right to end the session for any reason if I feel a client’s behavior or conduct is inappropriate. I also reserve the right to terminate a session for medical reasons, including discovering that the client has taken drugs, chemicals or medications that are contraindications for massage therapy.

Insurance

In order to get reimbursed for treatment, some insurance companies require a prescription from your physician. I suggest you contact your insurance company with your policy number and ask them whether they require this before making an appointment.

Length of Sessions

My policy is to give the scheduled amount of time requested. This means that a 60-minute session would be 60 minutes of treatment time. This includes assessment, treatment, discussion and follow up treatment plan.

Returned and/or NSF checks

There is a $50 fee for all returned checks no matter the cause. This fee may be reduced or waived and is subject to my discretion and approval.

Payment Options

All fees must be paid on the day of treatment. I accept cash or cheque. All fees are in Canadian Dollars.

Referrals

If you have friends or family members who are looking for a caring Healthcare Professional, you can rest assured that I will give them the same quality care and attention as you have come to expect. I appreciate the confidence you show in me through your referrals.

Tardiness

If a client is to be late for a scheduled session it is at the massage therapists' discretion as to the length of session that will be provided. Our sessions are set to start and end on time to allow me to plan accordingly for other clients. I ask that you plan on arriving a few minutes early to ensure that unexpected delays won't take away from your massage session. I do my best to arrive on time, but at times a session has been extended unexpectedly. In that rare case the full session will be given to the client even if I am running a little late.
